ABORTION BILL

Now this isn't for the faint hearted or the puritants the abortion debate is as old as time and I figure everyone has their own opinion. This has caused quite a stir as it were in Imo state, eastern Nigeria. Here's the scoop.

Imo State governor, Chief Rochas Okorocha, and Catholic Medical Practitioners Association are at daggers-drawn over the abortion bill the former just signed into law. The law, among others, permits women to procure abortion at will. Sponsored by the Majority Leader and member representing Ahiazu Mbaise state constituency, Mrs. Adekunle Ihuoma, the law is to be cited as "Imo State of Nigeria, Violence Against Persons (Prohibition) Law Number 12 of 2012".

According to the new law, every woman shall have the right to enjoy reproductive rights, including rights to medical abortion in cases of sexual assault, rape, incest and where the continued pregnancy endangers the life or the physical, mental, psychological or emotional health of the mother.

The law also stipulates that "every woman shall have the right to take decisions about her health needs and requirements." The law was very specific that a woman "shall have the right to determine the processes concerning reproduction in her body." Okorocha also approved that every woman should have a right to health, which should be understood to mean enjoyment of the highest level of physical, mental and social well-being and healthcare services. These provisions include everything relating to family planning.

Chairman, Catholic Medical Practitioners Association, Dr. Phillip Njemanze, has reacted angrily to the law, arguing that "the law is anti-God, dehumanizing and totally unacceptable to the association. "The law is devastating. With its signing into law by Governor Okorocha, abortion has been legalized in the state and anybody, just anybody can now ask for abortion as a right in the state." While recalling that the National Assembly had earlier rejected the bill, especially as it was against humanity, Njemanze reasoned that the law would encourage human egg trafficking.

SECRET REVEALED: WHAT A MAN WANTS

So this post is trying to shine the light into the man's mind, you know how they say men are from mars and women from Venus and all that jazz? *ahem* I have heard from severally men how uncomplicated they claim to be and how it's we women that have all the drama, being as that has been said, I think I'll have to agree there. Before ladies start raising eyebrows and disputing the fact let me draw your attention to this post; you'll learn a thing or two, now take extra time to read everything because a message is passed even in its simplicity.

You see, men are very visual and simple creatures, attraction and infatuation happens very quickly, they don’t need to know a lot about you in order to become attracted. Basically, it’s all down to your first impression. It’s also true that in time, this changes and an appreciation for you(female) will be at a much deeper level but for starters here are the things that catch a man's eye:

1. A cheerful woman
Nothing turns a man off more than a depressed and mean attitude. If you want to get that extra attention make sure you look cheerful because a flirty giggle and a cheerful attitude can quickly melt any man’s heart.
Understood that it’s not always easy to have such an attitude but if you can think about the happier side of life, all the time, this will happen naturally. Just take a minute to think about it, would you date a guy that hates his life and is genuinely miserable? Probably not, so think about this next time you go out.

2. A well dressed, good looking woman
Yes, men are attracted by looks, you know it, it’s the truth. But do not worry because this doesn't mean you have to undergo plastic surgery. Dressing well and looking good are things that you can immediately change. I’m not going to give any lessons on fashion as I’m probably not the right person to do so however, caring about what you put on and the way you apply some make-up can be detrimental when it comes to attracting men. Just focus on dressing well and feeling good about yourself. If you feel good about how you look then the people around you will feel the same way. You don’t have to wear flashy color clothes or anything like that, just be confident, have well fitted clothes and use a little bit of perfume and you’ll be attracting some males in no time.

3. A flirty woman
There’s nothing like a woman that can flirt back. Men know that in order to attract a woman they'd have to flirt. Sadly, often times ladies don’t flirt back but…when they do…it’s absolutely amazing. What do you need to do? Simple things like curling your lips or biting them slightly, raising your eyebrows when you make a smart remark, giggling at jokes, being genuinely interested in what he says – these sort of things. If you can’t yet master this subtle art, try looking at yourself in the mirror and exercise there. It may seem awkward at first but it will help you get the hand of things fairly quickly.

4. Show us some skin
Now this isn't a guide on how to be slutty however, that little bit of extra skin turns guys heads in an instant. Too much skin is a cry for attention and men know it but if you play it subtle – It will work a lot better.
A shirt or a tee that ends just right around where your jeans start or a perfectly fitting top with a wider neck that shows a bit but yet needs a bit of craning to get a peep is just the perfect combination. Men love those nearly-there peeks and it drives them crazy.

5. A seductive voice
Again, this isn't about changing your voice but using it correctly. There are little things in life that make the hair on a man’s back raise with excitement and a woman’s voice is one of them. Mastering the art of the seductive voice takes time so don’t focus on it too much. Men are turned off by high pitched glass shattering squeals that most women use when they’re surprised or ecstatic with joy. A low and soft voice is obviously more attractive. Lucky for you, it’s actually not that hard to speak in a low, softer tone without seeming like you’re trying too hard. Exercise your new found talent on the phone but don’t blame me if the guy on the other line starts to get flirty.

6. A Damsel In Distress
Maybe the term damsel in distress is too much for this but you get the idea, a woman in need. This may actually be a man’s dream, to help out a woman in need…as it gives them the perfect opportunity to be A MAN in front of you. Men love to feel wanted and then appreciated by women. You might think that men hate doing errands and stuff like that but they hate it only when they're in a long term relationship. At the beginning, men are at your disposal so use them in any way you want. So, if you know a single guy, go up to him with a smile on your face and ask him to help you with something, chances are he’ll jump to your help immediately.Men absolutely love women that ask for help, it just makes them feel manlier and it gives them the opportunity to have a conversation with you. And when you thank them with a flirty smile, there’s a good chance the guys would do anything to get your number.

7. A woman who acknowledges a man’s stare
This is the first step in seduction and probably the most important. You need to have the ability to acknowledge their stares. Sure, some guys have a lot of guts and approach you instantly but most guys don’t have this type of attitude and you need to give them at least the slightest reason to react. Many guys will try to get your attention by giving a manly stare. React to this by looking back at them. You don’t even have to smile (sure if you do, you give them even more reasons to approach you) but even just acknowledging their look is enough. You don’t need to do this with every guy that looks at you, but if he seems decent enough, do it. How you feel about yourself radiates from within and get’s spread to the people around you. If you’re miserable and don’t love yourself, you can’t expect anyone around you to feel any differently. If you want to be desired and want to be seen as sexy, you must first work on feeling desirable and sexy yourself. This article is here to show you 12 easy ways to help you feel desirable and sexy every day.
1.       Like Yourself
You are an amazing person and you SHOULD KNOW IT. It doesn't matter if you’re not happy with the way you look, where you are in your career, how your love life is going, the fact of the matter is that you are STILL AMAZING and you should never forget it. HOW TO TICKLE HER FANCY

 

This post is gonna strive to shed some kind of light on the different arousal spots for women. This is important because most men call us frigid or that we fake orgasms I just felt there was a need to do some kind of expos'e to better explain this phenomenon to both men and women. I remember my younger brother introducing me to a book about your love language, it was such a big deal because it made me understand how unique everyone is so in this post you can call it-for lack of a better word to use-learning your sex language :)

After two decades of studying women's arousal, a sex therapist and a sex researcher has identified four primary types of arousal in women. As we go through life,things that make us respond to stimuli change slightly as we experience different types of sex and are altered by our environment, stress level, health and partner dynamics. While each person's erotic map is different, there are general themes that run through the erotic maps of women, the Huffington Post reported.

According to Petra Zebroff, each female has four types of arousal influencing her overall pattern, but it is usually only one or two arousal themes that are the real driving forces. When a woman knows her primary pattern of arousal, she can have much better sex. It allows her to tap into her arousal when she wants it, as well as reach orgasm more quickly. Also, if her partner understands her "arousal type" he/she will have a map to better arouse her. Ultimately, if she knows what arousal type her partner is, she will be much more likely to make her partner's sexual dreams come true, and thus increasing intimacy in the relationship. Just as there are different types of learning like visual, auditory and kinetic, there are different types of sexual arousal.

The four sexual arousal types that have been identified are - the sensual type, the cognitive type, the intimacy type and the attractor type.

1. The Sensual Type is body-oriented and relies on the senses like touch, smell, taste to fuel arousal. They get hot by the sensation of their skin being stroked, smelling a delicious scent or tasting something erotic.
2. The Cognitive Type is head-oriented, relying on thoughts and imagination to drive sexual feelings. This type is fuelled erotically by thinking about or seeing certain sexual acts. Fantasy and porn are important tools used by the cognitive type to imagine different acts in their erotic map.
3. The Intimacy Type's primary motivation is to "connect" with their partner. They thrive when they share with him/her, or when they feel that he/she "gets" them.
4. The Attractor Type gets his/her arousal from arousing their partner. Their main source of arousal is when their partner finds them sexy and appreciates them. Being 'seen' is important to this type.

This will come a long way, you know that saying: knowledge is power? knowing your sexual make-up will help you come to terms with your sexuality better so you can have a better sexual experience with your partner. BRA 101

I did a little seminar on HOT DIVAS about how to wear the right type of bra's, so I decided to go the extra mile and blog about it, ladies your gonna need a tape rule to perform this particular exercise. This post though is going to try to help ladies determine what exactly is their right bra size. Thank me later *winks*

If your bras leave red marks or are just plain uncomfortable, chances are you’re wearing the wrong size. So if you don’t have access to a specialty fitting store, then an at-home measurement can give you a good idea of whether your current bra is sized correctly.  There are two measurements you need to determine: band size and cup size. To find them, put on your best-fitting unpadded bra and stand in front of a mirror, holding a tape measure.

Band size: With the tape measure, measure around the top of your rib cage, directly under your bust. Be sure to keep the tape evenly horizontal to get the most accurate number possible. When you have the measurement, round it off to the nearest whole number. If the number is even, add 4 inches; if it’s odd, add 5 inches. Your band size is the sum of this calculation. (So if you measured 32 inches, your band size is 36. If you measured 33 inches, your band size is 38. You get?)

Cup size: Place the tape measure around the fullest part of your bust, again making sure that it stays as even as possible around your body. You also want the tape to be snug without digging into your skin. Round that measurement to the nearest even number and calculate the difference in inches between this number and your band size. A difference of 1 inch equals an A cup; 2 inches equals a B cup; 3 inches equals a C cup; and 4 inches equals a D cup. So if you measured a 36 band in the first step and you measured a 38 here, your cup size is B. Here's some other fun facts I discovered:

DO BAD GIRLS ALWAYS GET THE GUY?

Here's the question that alot of girls ask themselves. I'm pretty certain every girl at some point in their discussion with friends must have asked this question: how come bad girls get married so quickly. Well this post will try and answer the question so here goes...

So there's this question that is commonly asked that I have no answer for. Well, I have theories, but they’re pretty much pure conjecture.The most awful, mean girls always clean up if they’re halfway hot. Or we find out that the biggest slut married to a wonderful guy who everyone thought was just using her. We hear stories of hot guys literally begging bitchy girls to be exclusive. Nice, single women of good character feel baffled and resentful. If the guys who have the most choice select women who are spoiled, moody narcissists, what does that mean for the rest of us?

1. Men like the challenge of an emotionally unavailable woman

2. Men want to turn the biggest bitch into their personal love slave; bragging about how he's the one that cleaned her up.

3. Men secretly like drama. Complicated, unpredictable women keep life interesting.

4. Men believe that psycho bitches are good between the sheets. They know sluts are.

5. From an psych perspective, a woman’s feisty ability to fight back (when raped) signaled the ability and fitness to bear and rear children.-i'm literally saying W.T.F!!

6. Mean girls are independent, much less work than girls who want to be romanced.

7. Men are more likely to get with outgoing, communicative women who pose little rejection risk. Promiscuous women excel at this.

8. Only very young men prioritize sexual access over character, mental stability, and selectivity.

Like I said this isn't some theory that has been cast in stone as the answer why men do what they do, being that men are from mars anyway. BEING IN LOVE WITH TWO PEOPLE

The big, bold headline must have been talked about a thousand times or more, I wonder is it humanly possible to be in love with two people at the same time? Here's another thing to ponder on, why is this a bloody issue? people all crave to love, be in love and to be loved so what's with the "Oliver twist" movement? As usual i did a bit of digging and you'll be amazed with my findings:

You might think there's no research to answer your question and you'd be right. How can you know if you're in love with him? An online survey of more than 1,100 readers found two-thirds thought you could be in love with more than one person. Evidence clearly suggests that humans are capable of loving and having sex with more than one person at the same time. Indeed, most people say that they can romantically love, and actually have loved, a few people at the same time. What psychologists do say is that you're unlikely to be in love with two people who are similar at the same time. Some also say that healthy people are satisfied in a relationship with one person, and only narcissists-proud,vain people- and people with dysfunctional emotional lives think they can be in love with two people at the same time. Based on expert opinion if you are in a relationship, your existing relationship is likely to win out because there's more invested in it. Stop seeing this new man/girl and improve the relationship with your old one.

For the record I'm sure people have come across the johnny Depp quote about following the other because if you truly loved the first you wouldn't have fallen for the other.
